If you are using a Gmail e-mail address to send maintenance or event data and the messages are not coming through. It may be that Gmail is requiring additional authentication details.


Please follow the one of the instructions below to resolve this:

  1. Enable access for less secure applications: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255
  2. Enable Two-Factor-Authentication, then generate an "App password" for the DZMx: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833 
    • This "App password" would be used instead of your Gmail SMTP password setting in the DZMx
